Computational Structural Mechanics Association

Mailing-list

The CSMA offers its members and the wider structural analysis community a moderated mailing list conducive to exchanges and broad communications within the community. Within this list, messages from the board of directors to members as well as messages between members are conveyed. This list should be used in conjunction with the website, which gathers the main information of the association, such as important events and offers of jobs, internships, and thesis opportunities. In order to increase the visibility of the list to non-members such as students looking for internships and/or thesis opportunities, the list is now accessible to everyone upon prior registration.

The dissemination of messages on the list is subject to moderation in order to control the adequacy of the messages to the missions of the CSMA.

It is strongly recommended to avoid any content that is too large in order to avoid overloading servers and mailboxes.

This list is intended to disseminate job offers (theses, internships, postdocs, positions for engineers, teacher-researchers, and contractual and permanent researchers), announcements of scientific events (congresses, conferences, and national and international colloquia, mini-symposia, summer schools, courses, seminars, book publications), announcements of prizes, and thesis and HDR defenses… For the dissemination of information on any other action, please contact the list moderator or the CSMA board of directors directly, who can then initiate a discussion regarding the dissemination of the information.

We also thank you for remembering to add, if necessary, the following tags in the title of your messages to be disseminated:

  • [thesis], [postdoc], [internship], [job] for corresponding job offers
  • [defense] for thesis and HDR defenses
  • [event] for congresses etc.
  • [prix] for announcements concerning prizes (award or call for applications)
